查拳是长拳类的一种，是在我国北方回族中流传甚广的一种拳术。它姿势舒展，动作灵活，快速有力，节奏鲜明，是武术自选套路和外家拳的代表性拳种。查拳主要套路共分10路，本片介绍的是第四路，名曰“四路升平”。查拳动作特点是手脚齐发，上踢下打，讲究手到步到，同起同落，头随势转，眼随手动，形神兼备。是一套不可多得的民间经典拳法。

      Composed of 10 movements altogether, Zha Quan is very popular in Chinese northern Islamic communities. The demonstrative play here belongs to the fourth movement. It’s characterized by the consistency in techniques between hands and feet. In the course of practice, the player’s head is in motion, with an eye on frequent movement of hands, producing a harmonious balance betweenbody and soul. Indeed, it’s reputed as the classic fistic play, which is hard earned throughout China.
